So, I'm watching the Monique show tonight and Ledisi performs. I've heard of the Grammy Nominee prior to watching her performance tonight, but I must admit that I have not paid attention to her music. I can't even recall her performance during the Chaka Khan tribute on the Soul Train Music Awarsd. :( Might you say, "I've slept on Ledisi?" I think so. She sang her heart out tonight. I truly enjoyed her performance. She sang a song titled "Higher Than This"! Wheeeew chile is all I can say! Beautiful song. I will definitley be looking for her new CD, "Turn Me Loose" in Target tomorrow.
