National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day- February 7, 2010

Sunday, February 7 is the National Black HIV/AIDS awareness day. Please remember to check your local area for events taking place. This Friday in Charlotte, NC those interested can receive Free one on one education and HIV and Syphilis testing! This is a serious problem in our community. Let's take it seriously. Get Educated. Get Tested.

The Alliance of AIDS Service-Carolina, North Carolina AIDS Action Network, and the Communicable Disease Branch we will host a march and rally in recognition of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NBHAAD). We will assemble at the North Carolina State Capital Building (southside/Fayetteville St.) for the march over to Moore Square where the Rally will take place. We will have Gospel singing, spoken word, art, a few speakers and presentations, and FREE HIV and Syphilis testing.
