The Gift of Giving-Update

Looking for a place to donate clothes or household items? Thanks to fabmomclt reader, Jack for sharing additional information on where you can donate items for the homeless. Jack responded to an article that I posted back in October titled "The Gift of Giving." Please see his comment below regarding "The Free Store."

"Yet another place is the Free Store, 516 E 15th St. The primary clients are the homeless and those just getting into homes. Shoes, thermal underwear (it is COLD without a house!), other clothing, furniture, small appliances ... if it was ever of value to anyone, then someone will have a need for it. Open Sat 10-5, Mon, Tue, Thur & alternate Wed 9-2. 704-287-7550"
